The Northern Dance Orchestra Project
The Clare Teal show on Radio 2 on the 12th May did a 1 hr feature on the NVO / NDO
This was a excellently produced show by Clare and the team, and showed the many facets of the NDO’s superb musicianship from 1956 - 1970. The next CD set due in 2014 will have many stunning mono and stereo tracks from 1968 - 74.
The CD’s were produced at cost by the NDO project, with optional donations invited to our various charities.
Over 4000 hrs of unpaid work has gone into making these CD’s, as a mark of respect for band members and their families, for what really was “The best band in the Land”
You can hear most of the tracks played, on ‘Diamonds and ‘Pure Gold 1’.
